Major Music Festivals? Check. Nationwide Artist? Check. NCAA D1 official DJ, Check. Needless to say, DJ Six is well on his way to becoming the most electrifying tour/nightclub DJ to come out of Arizona,

After graduating from South Mountain High School, DJ Six ventured 100+ miles south to attend the University of Arizona with aspirations to earn a bachelors degree. However his inherited entrepreneurial spirit would eventually lead him to find his passion to pursue his musical and entertainment dreams. 

Now in a new unfamiliar town, the yet to be DJ would join Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. and ultimately find a knack for attending college parties and keeping the scene alive. Eventually Six would make a business decision to purchase his own DJ equipment and begin hosting his own house parties that would become apart of Tucson lore until the end of time. Ultimately adopting the original moniker “Dj Sixsational”.

The ensuing months after Six’s purchase of 2 Speakers, 1 Dj controller, and a microphone, he would begin to transform the culture of this small college town forever. “Gateway apartment 919 house parties would become the talk of the town every weekend”, (imagine 400 wild college students packed into a 2 bedroom student apartment).

Following the success of Six’s house parties he began to gain notoriety around town securing  bookings for larger events and concerts. Within a year of this new found hobby Dj Six opened for a number of national recording artists such as YG, E 40, Young Dro & more, all while still maintaining his studies at the U of A.

In 2014 Dj Six would graduate from the University of Arizona with BA in Political Science. The time would now emerge for Six to pursue his career aspirations as a DJ full time. Obtaining his first nightclub residency at Zen Rock Nightclub in Downtown Tucson. Six hit the ground running following this opportunity, never looking back.

Now the top Dj in town, Six would take his talents to the next level founding the entertainment company Vibe Excursion, a collective of young energetic peers with a love for music and Hip Hop culture, Vibe Excursion would soon transform the dynamics of Hip Hop in the town branding a weekly Hip Hop night in the heart of Tucson “Trap Thursdays”.

Trap Thursdays would become etched in Tucson history forever. Dj Six with a “culture forward mindset” began booking nationwide talent to perform at Trap Thursdays, notable names include (TI, YG, RJMRLA, OG Maco, Kirko Bangz & more), Week to week 700+ people would attend these events and leave with an experience that is still talked about until the present day.

Since then DJ Six has relocated back to Phoenix to expand his brand. Quickly becoming one of Arizona’s most sought after DJs, “DJ Six” has become a more recognizable name, from being recipient of the  2021 AZT DJ OF THE YEAR award, to performing at world renowned events such as “Smurkchella”,  to working with artists such as Sada Baby, Young Thug, Babyface Ray & many more. He can now be found rocking the hottest nightclubs/concerts in the Phoenix/Scottsdale Arizona. His high-energy sets coupled with his unique mic presence have allowed him to flourish in measures he thought were unreachable.
